Your opinion? Sclerotia of Typhula phacorrhiza

I had to ask a lot of experts to identify this mushroom and I'm still not 100% sure if it's correct. But I believe that it is a sclerotia of Typhula phacorrhiza which means, that it is a special state of the fungus because of water shortage. So it's a condition to protect the fungus from drying...

This pictures shows the hard side of nature. A dead Springtail with a fungus infection... But the dead body helps the fungus to survive. So one live for another.... that's how mother nature works. Have fun and stay healthy, Jörg

    Happy National Mushroom Day! 🍄

What did one mushroom say to the other mushroom? “You’re one FUN-gi to be with!” The United States celebrates National Mushroom Day, I think all of North Americans should celebrate the wonder of fungi today.
