    Your opinion? The Grasshopper

Hi! Hows life? This is one of the photos that I took during my morning walk. I spent 2 hours today until I got a call from my children's school informed me that my son fell sick again and had to fetch him. Anyway, the grasshopper was quite calm, it didn't move a bit when I photographed it. If...

Your opinion? Grasshopper in a simple manner

Hi everyone, Not very used to close-up macros (even though I don't have the specific gear for full macro), here is a photo - a simple one - of this grasshopper, taken yesterday evening. Hope you would like it. Thank you for your feedback.

    Your opinion? Grasshopper sunrise

I used a printed backdrop that I placed in the grass behind the grasshopper to hide the noisy background and get more emphasis on the foreground. The backdrop is from Stuart Woods collection, printed out and glued to 300g „paper“. Fujifilm X-T3 Laowa 65mm ISO 400 F16 1/250s Speedlight with...

    Your opinion? Another grasshopper ...

This is the third try to get a picture of a (living) grasshopper - I am not too sure about the color composition (that green/blue combination) but I like the sharpness. Not every inch is perfectly sharp but without stacking this is what comes out using f16. EDIT: The picture has been taken in...

Your opinion? bow-winged grasshopper (Chorthippus biguttulus)

I found this grasshopper in July on one of my photo walks. It was very calm and relaxed and allowed me to take this shot. Hopefully you like it.

Your opinion? Nothing to see here! Or is there?

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to improve composition for insects that are well camouflaged? It is interesting, but not easily an attractive picture.

    Your opinion? Grasshopper

I found this guy eating my garden vegetables, but it paid me back by letting me get a few shots. Olympus TG-6 ~ 1/125 sec. f/3.2 5.4mm ~ ISO 100 no flash

Finally found a subject happy to have his photo taken so I managed to get a dozen photos to stack. I don't have macro flashes so I used my godox flashes on mini tripods in a light box. I really need to find some good backgrounds and bases.

Your opinion? Common meadow grasshopper (Chorthippus parallelus)

I found this little guy during my last photo walk. The focus is not perfect, but I think it's still worth to show.
