So, I was planning to take some pictures the other day and saw this beautiful blue dragonfly. I've never seen a blue dragonfly before, they're rare to be seen here. These were taken with Sony A7iii with 55-210mm lens with Raynox DCR-250 attached. I have used external flash with diffuser. Hope you like these.

beautiful close up; the only thing as a remark would be: a bit over exposed and a bit too blue - your color balance doesn't seem approapriate for the day time but more on the "night time mode"

Beautiful eyes. We have them here, but as you said, they are rare to see. They are called "Blue Dashers" here. I would have been very excited to see this! Congrats!

Thank you. Yes, the pictures are overexposed due to the light from my flash. It was taken in the evening. It was dark and the weather was cloudy, that's why the temperature looks a little bit cool here.

I haven't seen a blue dragonfly before. It was my lucky day I guess.
