Situated in the west end of the city along the Ottawa River is a conservation area where the wildlife gather. Britannia Conservation Area, Mud Lake, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Almost every variety of wildlife visits here even Black Bears. Just yesterday I came across a pair of Northern Leopard Frogs (Lithobates pipiens) that let me take their picture.

Oh great ! I saw some frogs near my home but it's too hard to get closer ... they jump in the water if i'm too close, impossibl to take good pictures

Mud lake is a place to relax and take in nature as the city bustles just outside of the conservation area. American Red Squirrel (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus) Britannia Conservation Area, Mud Lake, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
