There are excellent opportunities to macro these amazing characters...I swear that some snakes that I have met have a look of annoyance in their eyes? I am hoping some day to capture that up close.
So I have chosen the biggest reptile to hi light first: American Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) Everglades National Park • Ramsar site no. 374. Conservation Status: Threatened due to similarity of appearance (T (S/A)) (T (S/A)) in United States (USFWS)

A little lizard with frilly toes I found in the Mojave Desert. Mojave Fringe-toed Lizard (Uma scoparia) Kelso Sand Dunes • Mojave National Preserve, California, United States. Endemic in Mojave Desert, US: native and occurs nowhere else.

Up close and very personal to a Midland Painted Turtle (Chrysemys picta marginata) Mer Bleue Conservation Area, Ottawa, Ontario. Ramsar site no. 755. There are three types of Painted Turtle in North America.

Turtles are the best for macro opportunities: Southeastern Mud Turtle (Kinosternon subrubrum ssp. subrubrum) Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, Delaware Bay Estuary, Delaware, United States. Ramsar site no. 559.

This common lizard was taken at a local nature reserve, we see the lizards there every year but we have noticed a couple of them last year had ticks just behind their front legs.

This family of common lizards were taken at the London Wetland Centre before the lockdown.
