In Dante Alighieri's 3rd circle of hell, an infernal swarming of aphids, where living juveniles mingle with the dead and the remains of moults. With adults pacing this quivering peat. And they mate by perforating their partner's abdomen. All on the stem of a daisy.
A bit spine-chilling, isn't it? But it's also an opportunity for some pretty spectacular macros.
Taken with the Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x Macro at an enlargement ratio of around 2.5:1, without stacking for once. Those bugs moved to fast.

Wow, an other gorgeous photo. Good details with nice clean background and bokeh effect.

Personally probably I would aim to have them both subjects exactly in the middle of them photo.

Thanks for your comment. I like to de-centrate my subjects...
