The threads about adapting vintage lenses in the past few days inspired me to take one of mine on my latest hiking tour. It was a foggy day so the spider webs in the forests and fields were collecting lots of droplets. The following was shot with a Prakticar 28mm f2.8 on my Lumix G81.

What can I say, I'm impressed with the lens. It's sharp enough and delivers nice colors in my opinion. As you might see in the original file, there is a slight purple color cast, on which I built in editing by shifting it slightly towards blue and adding a small touch of blue to the shadows, while adding a little orange to midtones and highlights. I also did some shapening around the focused area and increased the shadows in the background.

What do you think about the performance of this old lens? Trash 🗑 or treasure ?
