Found on a cliff on the rocks is British Soldier Lichen (Cladonia cristatella) Two Rivers Trail, Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada.

Canon EOS M100 • EF-M28mm f/3.5 MACRO IS STM • ƒ/3.5 28.0 mm 1/60 1600 Flash (off, did not fire)

This is my favourite lichen to photograph but I do prefer when they are in colonies
