This is a composite image. Photo taken with Sony a7r3 with 90mm macro lens of a bubble in the process of freezing in 20 degree weather in Pennsylvania at night. It was lit from behind. Then a full moon photo was added to complete the composite. Moon: 400mm, f20, 1/20, ISO 80; Bubble: 90mm macro, f18, 1/6th second, ISO 1000. Both taken with Sony a7r3.View attachment 13758

I really particularly love the bubble! It doesn't ever get that cold where I am in Australia (we get to around 30 in the middle of winter, which is now for us),so that's a shot I couldn't get unless I travel say 6 hours drive south to the ski fields. Great shot

I believe because the photo is compressed. However, it shouldn't affect the image quality.

Large Soap Bubble play outside last year. Second one landing on honeysuckle flowers. The first one was airborne against the woods. Really high ISO (I can't remember why), but after adjusting things I love the colors. I was playing around with shutter speed maximums on the camera, and decided these were a good subject.
1st pic: Nikon D7100, ISO 1100, 85mm, F/4.5, 1/1000 sec., hand held while moving with the bubble.

Simple bubble on top of Black Eyed Susan center. They have to be quick or either the colors flowing on the bubble disappear or the bubble pops.
