Greg Shchepanek this is Common/Striped Tiger (Danaus genutia) this is so similar to the monarch, that we face questions like did i see a monarch...and the answer is No, Monarch is not found in India!

Ah, our beautiful Monarchs migrate from Canada to Mexico, where they overwinter...It is the biggest migration for a butterfly in the world and only second to the Dragonfly when it comes to insect migration.
