Yellow banded dart skipper butterfly - Ocybadistes walkeri sothis.

A very small butterfly in my front garden. Hope to capture its wings open next time, they attach differently than a normal butterfly, almost looks like a jet fighter.

Here is a mating pair of Dark Green Fritillaries taken on chalk downland in Oxfordshire, England. It was taken at 8am before the sun was baking the hillside on the hottest day of 2021. I took it with my Canon EOS 7Dmk2, EF 100-400 f4.5/5.6L IS II USM, at 153mm, f9, 1/400 ISO 1000. Hand held.
