I agree that it looks like a Chafer beetle Greg Shchepanek, it`s the hairs that threw me.

Jack It was in my garden and is about the size of a sheild bug.
I am leaning towards the Shafer family but can`t find any pictures of one quite this hairy.

The one from pictures look exactly the same from Mummy movies (old version) . So it could be a tick but maybe a different one.
