Lens Canon 100-400mm lens

Hi. Has anyone tried or have this lens ? Canon 100-400mm telephoto lens. Is this worth the money, its good for birds and wildlife, but in terms on reach I don’t know.

Interesting in terms of reach, are they happy ? Because I was looking at sigma 150-600 which is a bit cheaper then 100-400 lens , and also has more reach . And if attached on APC camera than you have 1.6x more reach.

I dont know about it but I own Nikon Nikkor 200-500 f5.6. Super awesome lens, so I think it will be same feeling

Can you shoot macro with it ?

Min focus distance is 1.5meters. I did shots of bumblebee these lenses better for far subjects than close ones. Hard too find what you are focusing on if it's the small subject. But if you find, you will not scare it, because you are far from it.
