Thank you, Jörg This was the best I could do, as the exemplar was at the botanical gardens, so I had to make do with what positioning I could. This is another angle of the same.Hi Desc1234. Really nice shot with the öight in the flower tunnel. Be careful with the position of the camera. A symmetric setup would look better. The camera was out of centre and the flower looks a bit tilted. But apart from that it looks really good.
Thank you for the support and the observation about the overexposed area I could try to burn it in or clone.Very beautiful picture ! the lighting makes it particularly good! Perhaps, by being a perfectionist, it would be possible to do a local treatment to reduce the overexposure of the lighting zone! I like to quibble !!!
Ahh ok, I thought that it's a flower from you.Thank you, Jörg This was the best I could do, as the exemplar was at the botanical gardens, so I had to make do with what positioning I could. This is another angle of the same.View attachment 10317
I do have about 30 orchids of my own growing on my windowsill, but they're mostly cool-growing species and hybrids which grow in medium to low light. I've tried cattleyas, but I don't have enough light for them, so I'm limited to exemplars from botanical gardens or other people's.Ahh ok, I thought that it's a flower from you.
Thank you, Yohanna This was shot with existing light - Around F20 or so and a very slow exp. I'm learning how to stack, so I hope to get sharper images front to back in future.I like the second one best; an invitation to a new foreign world. Great shots and not easy to do!
Did you use some flash light?
