Sometimes we find such lovely bugs by chance without searching for them. Hope you like this lovely small bug. The picture is one of my first tests with the new Neewer flash.
Great subject, the only thing that distracts me its the background, its to defined and clearly two straws. In the field what I use a lot is grabbing with the left hand the lens and also the straw/leaf in which the insect stands. In that way, I can precisely choose the background and focus. The second photo has the face of the insect sharp but the abdomen soft, try to but it parallel to the focus plane (in the first it is).
The bug looks very intresting, and i like the composition, especially of the first picture, well done
have you gone for your holliday Helix_2648 ? , or do you have pictures with us and laptop.. ?

Thank you Bernardo_Segura! Yes, you're right. Sometimes I hold the leaf in my left hand and my camera with the right hand. But after a while it becomes a bit heavy with the flash. So in this case I decided to shot with the backgrounds as it was without any modifications.
Really love it Helix_2648 . Pin sharp and great colours, composition on the first image looks greater to me just because the subject is more on the left side, when on second shot the subject tend to be more in the middle .
