Situated along the St. Lawrence River is a large marsh and conservation area. The Cooper Marsh Conservation Area is home to many species of birds including the Sandhill Crane and there is a great variety of wildlife within the large conservation area. It is so great to see this location is expanding and protecting more marsh land in Southern Ontario. I came across the wonderful Eastern Cottontail (Sylvilagus floridanus) feeding on the grass early evening. The marsh is located near Lancaster, Ontario, Canada.
