I also hesitate to take the vaccine. Their research span is short and we still don't know yet whether the vaccine won't cause any side effects or really effective. Some more, the virus has mutated now.
Several cases in Singapore shows that people who have been vaccinated can still be infected, but maybe not severe.
I lost my best friend in Indonesia because of this virus. I really hate this virus.

Yes, personally i believe there could be some side effects. But i still not rushing. Now in UK the NHS does push vaccination for some reason.

It's been more than a 24 hours and I'm feeling OK. Nothing different. Well, I've slept a lot better this night, but besides that, nothing changed.

Oh, sorry. I had to book in advance, yes. I could have gone after 2 or 3 days, but I wanted 3 free places (for me and my parents) so I choose a day which had 3 free places. I waited a week and at the center I waited 10 minutes to write a formal checkup. There was another person front of us. I also had to wait 15 minutes after the vaccine in the waiting room for checking for reactions, but we had none so we went home.

thatā€™s a bit sad. But at least good that at the end you had vaccine. What people are saying about vaccination in your country ? I know people do believe in some conspiracies, like there is something in vaccine to control us, or is something to do with Bill Gates or 5G

Yeah, we have those type of persons here too. But majority of people are fine with the vaccine. We vaccinate around 100k people per day so it's going good. The people that belive in covid conspiracies are called Covidiots here.
I also heard that now those that did not want to wear a mask, are wearing a mask to protect them against the people who are vaccinated because they think that the vaccine has some kind of protein that affects the non-vaaccinated people. It's funny and not.

Our goverment also made the vaccine kind of optional but obligatory. There is/was a rumour that you will have a Vaccine ID that you will use to benefit of some services: concerts, no mask on the street, etc. So you either make the vaccine and be "free", or you don't and your freedom is kind of constrained. But that's some ideas, rumours, there nothing 100% true, yet.

We (the balkan states) have a fear of rumours that become true, because before the communist regime fell, we were fed bullshit rumours and everyone got scared. We kind of kept that mentality, I guess.

We have people here who believe in this jokes too )))). I had a walk in central London, and I saw a lady who was saying that, there is no covid and we had this virus since birth. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: . That she was saying that they are doing the vaccine now to control people using 5G , and some conspiracies regarding aliens too . You Can create a comedy movie regarding COVID conspiracies)))))

Hello jack after quite some time. :)

Nice question.

I guess that everywhere happens the same. There are many people believing in conspiracies everywhere. And it has to do with some primitive instincts of people perception about things around us.

' When people cannot understand something they either tend to complicate it in their minds or they tend to simplify it'

But in our age we all go to school, educate ourselves and we have access to knowledge, I would say with a greater ease than in the past. But conspiracies theories do bloom every time with great speed. People seem to accept any information without critical thought and they act as 'repeaters' of a fact they have read somewhere without further investigation or at least some deep hought.

I have read many conspiracy theory books from many writers as well as their bibliography and sources, sometimes and I have been very reluctant to this kind of theories. I could explain why but it is for another discussion.....

Anyway.
About the theories having to do with the vaccine.
Every year, every month countless people of whatever age get vaccinated with any kind of vaccine in each time. Why should someone invent or create the covid story to get people vaccinated for 5G or any kind of other nonsense ...
We are already being 'controlled' in a way.
You visit a car sales store by chance and you get car ads anywhere in your e-accounts. You visit a store or a place and Gmaps after some days asks you to vote, comment or review the places you visited and many many other examples.....

We refuse to see the people that have suffered from the disease. Until it knocks our door. The last year I met a lot of people believing and spreading this theories. I got tired of them.... Some of them were infected and did suffer a lot for covid as well as people of their close environment. They changed their mind after their case... But WHY should they become ill to finally understand the severity of this disease?
I don't know how it started or if it was created, but what i do know is that it must stop at some point and live our everyday life like before.

After all it is not the first time that in humanity's history, a pandemic has been a threat.

Final words.
Last Saturday I was vaccinated. (1st dose of AstraZeneca)
My smartphone works better, I have better internet speed quicker streaming and better GPS signal.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
