I am not sure what kind of minerals are in this rock, but I'm sure quartz is one of them. I found this at a festival last weekend and the colors and veining intrigued me.

Nikon D7100, 85mm macro lens, tripod and focus rail, 35 photos stacked, on black glass with continuous light, F/5.6, ISO100, 1/60 sec.

Beautifully detailed, lots of colours and the lighting is great, this is an impressive stack, very well put together

That's an amazing stack! The structure and patterns are so great as well as the strong colour contrast!
