These are pretty much the only decent shots I've ever gotten of dragonflies/damselflies. In my limited experience, they're some of the most difficult bugs to shoot with a macro lens because they're so fast and skittish. Hopefully I can get a lot more shots of them this coming summer since I just got a new 150-600mm.

You should also consider doing a night shooting. The best way to get closer when they're asleep.
