Carbohydrates give energy and the best is to combine them with protein.
Carbohydrates give instant energy boost but drops down quickly if you do not combine them with protein. Put in the equation some fiber to slow down digestion and you are ok!
For carbohydrates sweet potato is one of the best especially in wither or quinoa. You can eat also rice. For protein chicken that has less fat or red meet to have some iron added. For fiber try greens and to add some more, whole grain bread but not much. In northern countries where climate is cold you need more calories.
Once I was working in Seefeld in Tirol Austria. When I went there I kept my Mediterranean food habits but it soon proved that I needed to add some fat in my diet. It wasn't enough because of the cold. 😂😂
I was feeling hungry relatively quicker. So I started eating a bit more plus some extra meat.

Rice with chicken it's good idea. And some salad on the side.

nataliaflejszar&Photo nataliaflejszar&Photo , excessive chocolate is not good, unless you eating dark one.
