Here is a photo taken yesterday evening at 9:00pm (very dark for a jumping spider) of a big (above 8mm long) Evarcha arcuata male. This spider also known as Monkey spider is very common here and most of the time very friendly.
As usual, Handheld single shot made with Nikon D7200, Laowa 100 mm supermacro lens, Neewer cobra flash and homemade curved diffuser.
Magnification effective 3:1

How did you calculate effective magnification sir? Mind blowing photograph. Only if there was some way to get the cut-off leg into frame, it would be a walk in winner!!

Effective magnification is easy to calculate. You need to multiply the magnification ratio of the lens by the crop factor of the sensor.
In that case 2:1 for the lens and 1,5x for Nikon Apsc sensor. Whereas you can simply go the highest magnification ratio of your lens, shoot a ruler and see how many graduations you've got in the frame. After make the make a size ratio between what is displayed and the 36mm of a FF sensor.
