This was done with a block of ice frozen in an insulated mug. As the ice melted the air bubbles inside revealed themselves and began moving. I concentrated on the top curve of the ice block for this one. I placed a flashlight behind the ice and pointed it upward, which caused the look of fire. There was also a flashlight below the ice.
