I softened the light on the top right and put some light back on the top fly.
the lower fly's look doesn't stumble in the frame shan.jpg

you've darkened the whole picture, try one or more shades of light, it will be less radical. :unsure:
I agree with you on the touch-up, you can't insist on treating it, you have to take a step back. ;)

somehow the color of the subject and the color of the bg (green) not being on the opposite ends of the color circle....the subject is not popping out the way i want it too.....
