Beautiful shot!!!
I took a few pics of frogs today, and was amazed how clear the reflections were in their eyes!

I agree, Sandy. I've not shot frogs and toads much in the past, but I find their eyes fascinating. I like your reflection in the 2nd one. Looks like you were relatively far back for such a closeup. Nice capture!

I agree, Sandy. I've not shot frogs and toads much in the past, but I find their eyes fascinating. I like your reflection in the 2nd one. Looks like you were relatively far back for such a closeup. Nice capture!
Thanks so much! yes, I was pretty far back, zoom extended to its max, 400mm. I actually went to the location looking for birds, so that was the lens I brought in my bicycle saddlebag. I didn't know I had captured myself until editing.

Just great selfe picture grphotog641 , the eye llooks very intresting, ans so sharp..
Thanks so much! I try to focus on the eye, I think that is the most important feature when photographing living things.
