Thanks!! No, just the Sigma 105 and getting in as close as possible at 1:1. Also used a simple office envelope a diffuser for my flash, which works surprisingly well! 😄 20200414_181400.jpg

I still haven't build one, idk yet how. Hope to get some advice from professionals 😅😅😅😅

Me neither, just tried this and got lucky! Not someting I would carry with me outside though...

And yes the Sigma has IS, but I used a tripod in this case and remote trigger, so didn't really need it.

I though you can make a great photo easily without tripod, if your lens has IS

It helps definately! But it still can't beat a tripod. The only thing is, a tripod reduces your ability to move around and change composition dramatically. That's where IS comes in and also flash helps "freeze" motion.

Highly agree here. For me it's annoying to carry tripod around, especially on very busy locations. But helps a lot your pictures to get sharp.

I only use tripod when shooting products, and have to use the macro rail.
