Using my home made drop generator (posted in showcase some time ago).
Drop fluid is water + xantin gum + violet food coloring. Two drops fall on water with green food coloring covered with a top layer of vegetable oil (the yellowish fluid)
Second drop collides with the rebound of the first drop.

The drops are water+xantim gum, falling over water covered with a layer of oil. So the rebound "column" is mostly oil with water droplets.(That is what I suppose )
