Not bad shot jhanx jhanx , did you used any black background ? Also you haven't used any light kit , isn't it ?

Hi Jack Jack , sorry forgot to mention, bug is placed on top of phone screen, with 2 speedlights form left and right. left speedlight is bare, right speedlight is diffused. I did not use any background. low iso and small aperture I think made the background dark. I did some quick post process(coz I am too lazy to do post process) to make background darker.

I like the atmosphere of your picture, maybe a little too dark, and the focus starts just at eye level, I think putting it a little bit more on the nose of the insect would be a plus., Great capture (y)

It looks good to me jhanx jhanx! A lot of details and good sharpness. Not an exciting composition but the bug itself is very good.
