Had fun with the lighting on this specimen. To achieve the dreamy reflection, I placed the specimen on a mirror.

nice shot, though what you 3D printed is an extension tube/adapter. how much magnification can you get with that setup.

You would be correct, and it can produce upwards 4x magnification to 2.75x depending in the extention tube.

For anyone that has a 3D printer or knows someone that can print this out for then, it's a very budget option for macro photography. Since it only cost me $20 for the microscope 4x objective. For that price point, it's a great bargain for the results it can produce as you're already seen here with my work.
