Hi Folks. Thanks for welcoming me aboard. Well, this site is going to take some navigating round - there seems to be many avenues I could explore! Looks great though. I am mainly a nature and wildlife enthusiast who happens to like recording what he sees with a camera. There's not a lot of megafauna in the UK (and that's an understatement) so I do plenty of macro to make up for that , and I have dabbled in studio ultra macro too, but wasn't too enthralled with it because the subjects were dead. So my project for 2022 is to get into ultra macro in the field. I don't think its going to be easy but I've come up with a promising looking rig which might help deliver the goods. I'll let you know how I get on.
