As winter quickly approaches I myself start thinking of doing it. Hibernation is an amazing physiological feat that is necessary for animal survival. Bears are the animals most known for hibernating, but they aren't the only ones. Turtles, snakes, wood frogs, and groundhogs are other animals that engage in some form of hibernation. Take a look at some of the animals that like to hide until spring arrives.

Hey Greg Shchepanek, you're a really sometimes a lovely and funny guy but you're for sure no turtle or bear. So please don't go in hibernation.
No one will be there to wake you up and you'll oversleep.

Nice topic Greg!
In the botanic garden I visit every weekend is full of turtles. Sometimes I see them at the last moment. Luckily I haven't stepped on any wet.

The problem in North America is we drive over our turtles as they go to lay their eggs away from the water so we have the bad business of killing off all the lady turtles
