Inside a quartz geode that is filled with water for effects. Multiple lighting sources for colour. Doing some experimental macro photos with my rock collection today.

I would definitely love to do some crystals shooting. You can achieve really outstanding results by playing with crystals

This was my most experimental geode photo I have taken. I filled the rock with water and I was using four different light sources to get the shot and effect.

Have you tried to play with different colour lights ?

Something I might try in the future. For this photo I had natural light, my warm lamp light to colour the top crystals, lens light and finally I used my mini torch to highlight the bottom crystals. I love playing with light when I am taking my photos at home.
