Homemade diffuser

So while I decide which external flash I am going to buy (save up for). I am going to make a homemade diffuser either with a cloth one I own that is too big for my lens or using a Pringle can so I can use my pop up flash whilst I'm saving! I shoot with an Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mkiii and 60mm macro. Anyone with any ideas or made one?

You can give it a try without spending a lot of money if your're a bit skilled in craftsmanship.

Hello benjismiller . Personally I don't own a diffuser on my flash. I'm thinking to buy one or probably build one as well.

Also, check resources page as well, there are tutorials on building a diffuser.
