You need a speed light definitely Greg Shchepanek , I’m pretty sure you will achieve much more better images

Do you use the on-camera flash Greg? If you haven't it might be worthwhile experimenting with it. At macro distances you will have a short duration and that will sharpen the image out of the camera.
