A bit of interesting topic. And also interested how much memory do you use on your camera?

Personally I have 32gb on Canon 7d m2 and 128gb sd on my Canon m50. Still not enough sometime. Because shooting in raw.

My Canon R5 uses CFE cards and I use the 256GB ones which allows me about 1500 images which is usually good for a morning’s shoot. Standard SD cards are too slow to keep up with 20fps bursts.

On my Canon R5 I use the 64GB CF card and in the second card slot I use an SD card with 64GB memory
These seem to work well for me and I have never ran out of space, but I do upload images to my PC after every shoot and then format the cards afterwards.

I use an old 64 GB, too big memory and easily I take too many pictures :ROFLMAO: , I need to buy a new, faster card, could have smaller memory also to me, so i think more about my pictures before itake them :ROFLMAO:

I just added new memory card of 128gb to my old 7d m2 😅😂. A bit late when the camera is so old.

You can get very fast sd cards nowadays. I use some of them for my drones.

I use a 64 GB Nikon XQD card on my Nikon Z7. I can take about 650 photos, which is usually enough for a day, I unload the card every night to sort it out.

A larger card would not necessarily be very useful to me, but a second could be careful. But given the very high cost of XQD or CFExpress cards, it makes you hesitate. They are certainly faster and more reliable than SDs, but their price is exaggerated.

I use 32 and 64GB cards. I format the cards after i transfer the files to the computer. So even a 16GB card would be more then enough for me, i almost never get more then 100 photos on the card before formatting it.
