Yes definitely can live without it. And there are other ways to install apps if needed. I do hate phones which comes with preinstalled apps, like google , Facebook, I like me to decide which apps to get in my phone.
I bough the phone for my gf for her birthday and love it. Yes, doesn't support Google apps sadly, but they have own App Gallery, and you can transfer apps from old phone to new one. It comes with some basic app installed, but not facebook, messenger or other social media apps.
that's the best feature of Huawei phones.
there are websites like apkpure where you can get more common apps, though I suggest you download them on a pc first and scan for viruses before installing on the phone.
That's a thing. I really like that the phone came with no installed apps as usual for other phones. It does let me choose which apps to have on the phone.
The images which I have taken with the phone are very good honestly. Luckily I got the phone on deal, otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford.
