I like the contrast of the soft surrounding and the metallic fly.
Do you use any sharpening or noise reduction tool? I learned that my pictures profit a lot from Topaz Sharpen AI and sometimes (though not often) from Topaz Noise AI.

I have never heard of Topaz; however I use a bit of sharpness in Photopshop but not too much; this photo was taken with 1000D from Canon and at 400 iso, the noise can be quite present

The fly looks really sharp as long as you don't zoom too much into the picture. But you don't need to do this as you must see the whole picture as a painting. So you've to see the whole picture and not just check if each and every hair is sharp and free of noise.
But a test with the Topaz software don't hurt and might help you for your further post editing.
