First time for me seeing these insects.
Shot one is of a cereal leaf beetle larva.
Note it's shiny, wet covering of fecal pellets. This
covering provides a defense against
predatory insects.
Second shot is a cross eyed derbid plant hopper.

Mother Nature is amazing isn't she Willy? Its wonderful to come across new insects and be able to photograph them, you did a great job on these 2.

You're right Andy, Mother Nature will never stop amazing me or any of us who loves macro or nature in general. Thank you Andy.
