the lack of sharpness probably comes from the fact that the photo is made at 1600 iso with a device whose maximum sensitivity is only 3200 ... it's an old mirrorless camera that I only use when hiking, when I don't want charge me with the reflex.I don't agree that it'S under exposed Jack but the background is because of f/16 a bit too busy. f/8 would be better for this. But it's nevertheless a very good picture but could be a bit sharper.
Impossible to remove it before taking the photo ... the dragonfly would have flown. I didn't want to retouch the photo. And on reflection, I thought to myself that it made a funny parallel to the dragonfly ...the background is really nice, yes it's a bit under exposed but well done; my only complaint if I may would be that blade of grass that crosses the entire photo on the horizontal way.
