Hi,

I found this spider while walking at a nearby park. Shot on Canon 100mm macro lens on sony body. Still getting used to this lens colours. I have still to identify this species.

Great shot. These little buggers are hard to photograph as they never stay still. I have loads of these Zebra jumping spiders in my garden and i cant get a shot yet.

I did not know this when i shot this photo but these shots were actually my first peacock spider shots taken, this species is a confirmed Maratus Plumosus, common name is the plumed peacock jumping spider. I wish I had captured it, not because i wanted more pictures but I would have loved to have seen it display its mating dance, it is quite spectular.
