Dots of small yellow on the end of a decaying log proved to be Lemon Disco Fungus (Bisporella citrina) Alleyn-et-Cawood, Québec, Canada.

Interesting Greg Shchepanek! Looks really small, isn't it? I've never seen such mushrooms before. Maybe I can these mushrooms this year by myself.

They are very small and are usually in a large group so the common name having Disco in it. These were found where you would expect them on decaying wood.

not the easiest targets to shoot to be honest;
to me this is more like a botanical photo that has a purpose of description and also of informing.
Try the mushrooms with "legs"/stems so that you would create atmospheres.

Inspecting decaying logs always is fruitful for fungi discoveries and the woods being damp helps

I never tried macro during automn, so this year is the first for me, I hope i'll get time to go in the forest to find mushroom and fungis

Lots of great fall fungi in the woods before the snow falls...one of my favourite fungi Orange Peel is only seen in October here
