Locations for shooting

Where or which locations do you all go for shooting insects or flowers ?

I'm usually looking for locations with enough light which are sheltered from the wind. Mostly meadows for insects since it's too dark to take pictures in the forest without flash.

But this will hopefully change after I received my new flash.

Luckily I don't need to go far, although I live in the city, I have a lot of great and beautiful places to shooting insects and anothers pictures
The Oulu is just best one

I have here a lot of places where I can find insects, my favourite place is my small forest close my home, but close of the sea beach can find something interesting and parks with a lot of flowers.. and places with high grass- they is too enough around-
Oulu is the city that takes care about nature around of

What about you Jack, can you find there in London insects?

Here in London are a lot of nice gardens, especially Kew Garden, but it's a bit far from me.

I usually shoot in the local forest 2 kilometers away from my house.
It is not very big but there are also 8 deer walking around and all kinds of birds including a pair of Golden oriole and they are quite rare in the Netherlands.
But enough insects.

I live on zone 4 , as London is divided by zones.

I need study more about London . I don't know anything about the city ,and I never lived in so big city.. , is there nice life Jack ?
I don't like too big cities.. but visit there would be interesting
