this lens just make me crazy , so beautiful design , beautiful lens , just make me crazy!!!
I need to start to safe money for the lens and better camera for it

I think nice close ups could be able to with , the lens is just so beautiful, for me Olympus is just master in design own equipments

I'm not sure about close up or macro, looks bulky to me for that. It's more wildlife lens for me.

the 300 pro Olympus lenses have great close up, almost macro opportunites, althought maked for wildlife etc.. , I've seen a lot of great pictures taken by the lenses..
the lense above will have everything sitll much better as the wonderful 300mm pro lenses , I belive it wll amaizing lense

There are tele converts that make tele lens longer, so it's no problem Jack

If I’m not wrong you loosing from F stops if you are using tele converters , i think MinitecaPhotographie or rcorteschile might know more about it.

Indeed, 1.4x extender loses 1 step. 2x extender loses 2 steps.
This will be a beast lens for bird chasers.
