Macro with a 52 year old lens

Taken with a Nikkor-H 50 mm F2, pre-AI, manual lens, bought in 1970 (The Nikkormat "kit" lens of that era)
Lens reverse mounted on a Nikon E2 ring to achieve 1:1 reproduction ratio
F11 1/200 seg
Nikon D5600
24 images, 0,2 mm step size, stacked with Zerene

Old lenses can be fantastic, great glass and simple functionality, I always scout the old camera shops around Bangkok when I am there, just in case.
Nothing wrong with this image oscar118, nicely done

Very nice results! Quite impressive for an old lens, good details and colours, very nice stack. My brother and I have some old Pentax glass which I use for macro from time to time. I captured some peacock spiders with it last spring (stills and video) and it performed very nicely.
