Thank you, Greg I've been wanting to try stacking for some time now. Even at F22 you won't get front to back sharpness at this distance (I've tried), and there's also diffraction to think about. This was at F10 and a stack of 10 images.Whaooooo great picture ! I like the black background, and the clarity on all subject. Why did you stack ? Why not taking a long shot with F/22 ?
I've come up against limitations of single shot as to DOF time and time again. From certain angles (3/4, for instance) it's hopeless, so I wanted to learn. I'm using Combine ZP right now, freeware, but enough until I learn a bit more.Good job ^^ I don't use stack, I need to train myself
Thank you, Greg, much appreciated I'd like to get stacking under my thumb before the new season starts, so my flowers are the guinea pigs now.Wow brilliant capture beautiful detail, clarity and colours so very well done.
Thank you, Jörg, I really appreciate it I'm planning on getting Helicon once I've mastered the fundamentals of stacking. Combine does a pretty good job, but I can't seem to save in TIF, only in JPEG, which is a bit frustrating. So right now I can only practice with it.Indeed a fantastic stack! I'm impressed by the clarity and sharpness! Even the little hairs looks really good without any significant rendering errors like halos. I know CombineZP but I've never tested it by myself so far since I'm using Helicon Focus. So let's say as a summary..
REALLY A GOOD JOB Desc1234!
