Your opinion? My purple Mushroom

This picture was taken in octobre. For this pic, I waited until an evening after several rainy days.
After several rainy days on a shiny day because that's the moment the mushrooms all rise from the ground and the evening because of the soft light.
This picture was taken with the Nikon D4 and a manual Tamron 500mm mirrorlens.

A very creative color setup and composition. I would prefer a bit mire saturation but it's a great picture in any case! Especially because of the blurry fore- and background.

What's a proxy photo?

A mix of a macro and a "normal" photo. Means a subject which can be photographed closer but you don't do it.

To be more precise its when you're close to your subjet without getting a 1 to 1 magnification ratio.

Very nice photo. Reminds me that I should also try and work with a blurred foreground more.

I particularly like the muted colors in this picture. How do you achieve those? Is it just desaturation or also playing with the curve???

A mirror lens? Interesting. Are those these huge barrels shaped ones?
