I've been editing photos from last year this morning. I ran into some that I took of Mosquitos hatching in an old birdbath. I only had a little time, so had to do a quick setup with the camera resting on the edge of the birdbath. This was so impossible to get perfectly clear shots because the emerging mosquitoes were covered in water flowing off of them, and the bright sunshine was glinting on them everywhere. I still thought it was a pretty cool capture of the newborn just emerged from under the water. You can see others under the water surface hatching out.
