Attempting some minimalist oil bubbles this was at 5x magnification. The gradient was a mix of paper underneath.

Well a lot of my other stuff is usually syrup and ink, I was going for more bubbles this time around. I took more tonight that I'm currently working on, but this time not at 5x. So we'll where that goes.
are their some liquids you were thinking of?
A little bit of water on raised glass, and oil mixed in. I use a little eye dropper to get that bubble look.This one, looks gorgeousJustSlipAway . How you doing them ?
Seems very interesting. You can show some images how you do it if you have time, I might try it as well.
Oil and water photography is an endless world. So many combination possible. You can play with textures, colors, lights.... Great results for those photos.
Looks really good! Especially the arrangement of the bubbles with the soft colorful background.
