Here are two photos of the same subject with two different angles and two different technics.
The first one is a single shot and the second one a focus stacking of 5 shots.
Both are handheld shots.
Tell me in comments which one you prefer and why.

I like the second one because of the detail it shows and the centre of the image being all in focus. nice work.

I choose the second one too. It's clearer .

For this shot I have to also go with the stacked photo, lots of detail to look at.

As they are, I prefer the second one because of the whole face being in sharp focus, and I think the horizontally centered composition works better.

That said, I think with some cropping, the first one would be a better portrait than the second, because the higher angle, shallower depth of field, and reduced glare on the face draws more attention to the eyes.

I prefer the stacked image as it shows more depth of focus.
