I was told to invest in a real camera and so I have been buying new cameras since trying to find my match.
Red Velvet Mite (Trombidiidae) Red velvet mites are members of the subphylum Chelicerata, a group of critters that have tiny lobster-like claws that serve as mouthparts, a feature that relates them closely to spiders, scorpions & harvestmen. Bill Mason Centre, Dunrobin, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Taken on October 23, 2011.

Is there a small spider ? You definitely need a proper camera for the job.

It was photos & experiences like this that made me fall in love with Mother Nature and the little worlds she has created for us.

The spider itself is for sure a good macro object, but this needs some more preparation. The picture like it is don't work for me.
