Hello,

I have been playing around with a UV torchlight I got. I have many ideas and shoots for it but for now I will show this shot which I took last night. The idea of being able to paint light sources into my macro scenes is very exciting. In this particular shot I have used an ink which is blue fluorescent under UV and I am using this to light the succulent flowers. I had to mix the ink with some glycerine to make it thick enough so it wouldnt run down the plant. Still working out my editing style for UV photography, kept this one pretty simple and natural.

Cheers,

What a great idea! Just think about the possibilities like using the ink on a polen stem or things like that! Even mushrooms would be a great subject for this! Really cooooolll!
